The rampage on Saif Ali Khan’s series Tandav is not going to end anytime soon. The religious sentiments have been hurt by the Tandav Web series.

But the matter is increasing and now after the FIR is registered in 6 cities, UP police have reached Mumbai to inquire with the makers of the series Tandav.

Four police officers from Hazratganj in Lucknow have reached Mumbai and are about to interrogate director Ali Abbas Zafar, Amazon’s head Aparna Purohit, producer Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and writer Gaurav Solanki.

All the cast & crew have been made accused in the case hurting religious sentiments.

Now in the sections in which this case has been registered, an arrest is also being made possible.

The police team is going to question and answer all the accused on Wednesday itself.

What Is The Tandav Controversy

It is known that the Tandav series is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

There are many big stars like Saif Ali Khan, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Sunil Grovar and Dino Morea, are working in this web series.

Most of the controversy is being seen about Zeeshan Ayub and one of his scenes.

In the very first episode of the series, Zeeshan Ayub is playing the role of God Shiva and making statements in an inappropriate manner on the stage. It seems makers are deliberately mocking the sentiments of the Hindu religion.

The Saint society as well as across the whole country seems annoyed by the manner in which Zeeshan Ayub is making statements by playing the role of Lord Shiva on the stage.

There has definitely been a demand from the makers, but the anger does not seem to have calmed down.

Apologies From The Tandav Makers

However, since this dispute, the makers have apologized on several occasions.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar himself has clarified this dispute on social media. He wrote-

We came to know that some of the content of the web series has hurt people’s feelings. Let me tell you, the story of the web series is completely imaginary and the aim of any member of our team was not to hurt the feelings of the people. Keeping in mind the concerns of the artists, crew, and audience of Tandav, we apologize.

In another tweet, Director Ali Abbas Zafar has also made it clear that he is communicating with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and all disputes will be resolved soon.

Disputed Scenes Will We Removed

The news is also that the makers have now agreed to remove every controversial scene from the Tandava.

Makers have made it clear that they do not aim to hurt the religious sentiments of anyone, in such a situation, they are now ready to remove those scenes which are getting very outrage.

The Ministry of Information Broadcasting has also been thanked on behalf of the makers. In his eyes, the ministry showed him the right direction and supported him constantly

Now everyone’s eye is on the police action.

It will depend on this inquiry whether the trouble of Tandav makers increases or decreases. However, there are several FIR has been registered against the Tandav makes across the country.

The Tandav series is having total of 9 episodes, which was released on January 15 this month on Amazon Prime.

In Tandav web series actor Saif Ali Khan is playing the role of politician for the first time.
